Honda Cars of Meadville no longer provides their own complementary vehicle washes with a service appointment like they used to. What they do now is give you a coupon to have your vehicle washed at Pro Wash Auto Spa. That sounds nice until you realize what a hassle it is trying to get to Pro Wash when they're actually open. Their hours for a car wash are 9-5 M-F and 9-2 on Saturdays. Maybe if you live within 5 miles of their facility, that works, but for anyone else, it's very inconvenient. Today, after confirming their hours via their website, I planned (because you pretty much HAVE to plan the trip so as to catch them when they're open) to rush from my place of employment in Cambridge Springs 17 miles to redeem my coupon and have my truck washed. I made it there by 4:35 only to find a sign in the middle of the driveway saying the car wash was closed. All of the doors to the business were open and I saw employees standing around the "customer service" desk chatting. I parked my truck and went inside to ask them if they could wash it. The owner bluntly told me that the car wash was closed but would be open tomorrow. I told him that I drove all the way from Cambridge Springs for one purpose and that was to have my truck washed. He was unfazed. He told me again that the car wash would be open tomorrow. I mentioned to him that I wanted to get it washed yesterday but had checked their website first and saw that they don't have Sunday business hours. He proceeded to inform me several times that he never has Sunday hours...as if this were a point of pride for him. I told him that I knew he didn't have Sunday hours because I'd checked his website but that the MONDAY (today) hours are 9-5 and it is currently 4:35pm. Again he told me (in a dismissive tone) that the car wash would be open tomorrow. He made it seem as if I was bothering him by trying to patronize his business. I will not be going back to Pro Wash Auto Spa. Ever. And I'm contacting Honda Cars of Meadville and asking them to contract with another car washing facility. The owner of Pro Wash Auto Spa does not live up to the professionalism, or extend the kind of courtesy, I've come to expect from Honda Cars of Meadville.
