I highly recommend. I've been to several shops since moving to the Meadville area and have found Dick Allen's to be the most trustworthy as well as the cheapest. I routinely get a lower quote from them for just about everything. There have also been times when they actually told me something didn't need to be done or would be a waste of money (which is a good sign of a a place you can trust). One time I took my car in for a repair (oil was low but planned to get it changed later) and later realized they changed my oil without me even asking or charging me. It's hard to find mechanic shops you can trust, but I trust this place.
Excellent customer service overall. The prices for services and repairs are lower than other places. Mechanics at Dick Allen's are competent and explain needed repairs. Fast service and professional staff. Highly recommended!
Kevin and his staff are great thorough mechanics. I've taken my last 2 vehicles over to them and they have always been able to help me out without costing an arm and a leg. The front desk woman, Sue, is just a delight. All in all a great place to take your vehicle for maintenance and repair!
