We showed up a little early and they promptly got our car cleaned and ready to go for us! They were friendly and the car was in beautiful condition inside and out!
When the brakes go on your car, it can be very stressful...thankfully, I was able to make an online reservation for a vehicle for the next morning, and not only did Enterprise pick me up that morning, they drove me to my repaired vehicle when I returned the rental a few days later. Not to mention the weekend rental special took less of a bite out of m uhh budget, too!!
I called the 800 number to reserve a car and was told I couldn't get the $10 a day weekend rate because I was reserving less than a week before pickup. However, he told me to ask when I picked up the car if they had one available. So I did and was told it was summer and they didn't offer any discounts during the summer season. This is backwater Meadville, Pa. I lived there for 40 years, there is no summer season. Ok no discount rate. Then she asked if I wanted insurance. I replied no. She then told me that State Farm insurance didn't cover their cars and I could be hit with a big bill for down time repairs. I called my insurance agent and he stated I didn't need your insurance. Having your 20 something sales agent pushing insurance to a senior citizen like she did is just wrong. I may be a senior citizen but I'm not stupid as my insurance agent quickly reminded me. Good car just poor sales service.
Enterprise went 'above and beyond' with our last rental. We had some tire problems with our rental while on a out of state trip and when it couldn't get fixed in a timely manner they switched out vehicles for us (in another state). When we dropped the rental off in Meadville they even deducted some off the charge which was totally unexpected! We have rented from the Meadville branch various times and will continue to do so.
The car was ready when promised. The staff was very courteous and professional. The process was simple and streamlined. I would definitely rent from them again
